Tapioca pearls are white when uncooked and after cooking, transparent to milky small, tasteless, starch beads. These are a popular ingredient in desserts and drinks in Asia. Tapioca is an almost tasteless starch made from the processed and dried cassava root. Contents: 180 g Recipe suggestion for a tapioca coconut pudding >>> 1.) Give approx. Put 90 grams of beads in a bowl and cover them with cold water. Allow the beads to swell in about 1 hour. ||| 2.) Add 500 ml. Coconut milk together with 60 grams of palm sugar in a pot and bring it to a boil easily. ||| 3.) Now add the swollen tapioca beads and cook them until a pudding-like consistency is formed. 4.) The pudding is ready when the tapioca beads no longer taste like flour and they are almost transparent. ||| Tip: add banana slices at the end as desired.
