Workmanship: For our fork spaghetti we use the best demeter durum wheat from a Demeter good in Italy, with which the Spielberger mill has worked together for over 20 years. The warm climate in Italy is a prerequisite for healthy growth of this cereal. Durum wheat is a special type of wheat with a very hard grain, which is traditionally used for pasta. For this purpose, the semolina is sieved when grinding the durum wheat grain. Then the semolina is processed purely traditionally into pasta, so it tastes like homemade. Our fork spaghetti are particularly small, short pasta. This makes them perfect for pasta salads or casseroles. They also taste with a wide range of sauces. The packaging of our pasta is 100% based on the renewable raw material wood from European forests. Combined with water-based inks, our packaging is completely mineral oil free. They can be completely collected in recycled paper and 100% recycled. We close the paper cycle by balancing the paper consumption for our packaging and giving something back to nature. Through a permanent partnership with the Bergwaldprojekt e.V. Every year, according to the paper requirements for our packaging, we finance the planting of trees in our local forests as well as the care and preservation of the existing forest. The latter allows the forest to rejuvenate naturally i.e. new trees grow and the forest thrives. Processing/preparation: basic recipe: boil fork spaghetti in plenty of boiling salt water for 6-8 minutes, so that the pasta is bite-resistant.
