ON/OFF WHEN FOLDING & ACTIVATION WHEN LIFTING: The kitchen thermometer automatically turns on when the puncture probe is unfolded and off when folded. The unfolded roasting thermometer turns off after 90s of non-use and turns on again when lifting, so that the battery is protected. Screwdriver included for inserting the battery. IP65 Waterproof: With IP65 waterproof material, the temperature meter can be cleaned under running water or with a damp cloth after use. The non-slip design on the handle is for easy insertion and removal. Calibration - Accurate measurement for longer time: only with a cup of purified ice water can the cooking thermometer be calibrated.
