HiFonics MRX200A - compact 8\; Product description HiFonics MRX200A active subwoofer for spare wheel or emergency wheel. Mini active subwoofer, suitable for rims from 12 inches. If you want to enjoy invisible bass in your vehicle, use so-called active underseat subwoofers. But if there is no space under the seats, only an alternative installation remains in the boot. For reasons of space, a spare wheel version is often considered. However, if the diameter of the spare wheel is very small, only very small models such as the MRX200A can be used. With a diameter of only 25 cm and a height of only 8 cm, it is ideal for this and fits rims from 12 inches in diameter. Especially fans of vintage cars with small spare wheels will enjoy the MRX. It's amazing how much bass pressure comes from the small case. The cleanly manufactured housing of the MRX200A is already a highlight in itself: made entirely of cast aluminium and excellent workmanship, it weighs a proud 4.6 kg on the scales! You can feel the quality of the power gnome in your hands. INTEGRATED CLASS D AMP So that the small MRX200A also consumes particularly little power, it works a very efficient Class D amplifier, which has an efficiency of up to 87%. The advantage of this is in contrast to conventional Class A/B amplifiers the low heating, as hardly any losses have to be converted into heat. With a power of real 125 Watt RMS, it is very powerful. The aluminium membrane driven with it converts the performance perfectly into sound pressure. The result is a dry and powerful bass. Perfect features: In the input area, the MRX200A offers both RCA jacks and the increasingly needed high-level connectors with automatic switch-on function. In addition to the included wired bass level remote control, the Class D amplifier can be perfectly adjusted via the infinitely adjustable lowpass filter, phase switch and 0-12 dB bass boost. Thus, the subwoofer can be acoustically well integrated into the existing system.
