[VAN] This rear view camera fits the Ford Transit Custom with the LED brake light from May 2016 to 2023. Not the 2012 - May 2016 version with traditional incandescent light. If you have this van, see ASIN B06Y49D94W. Your third brake light should be approx. 26cm wide and 5cm high, built into the split rear barn doors of your van, not for vans with tailgate doors. Your van looks exactly like our photos. DESIGN The rear camera is mounted into the brake light to provide a view behind your van looking down at the rear bumper. The camera is mounted in a ball and base housing so that it can be angled as needed. This is a complete replacement brake light housing with a new integrated LED light. Simply unplug your current light and plug it in to maintain your brake light function. Operation The rear camera connects to your reverse light supply so that it turns on when you choose reverse gear. You can wire it to a 12V ignition supply if you want to always turn it on. It looks down towards your bumper. The kit includes a 10m RCA / phono cable, 1 x power cord and the required composite adapter cable. The monitors also come with their own mounts and compatible cables to give you a complete system. When used with your own monitor, check if it has a phono/RCA input that works with a PAL or NTSC signal. Not AHD compatible. Specification The camera works on 12V power with a CMOS lens at 720p quality with dual NTSC and Pal output. It has a 120 degree viewing angle with mirror view and is IP68 waterproof. It has 6 LEDs for infrared night vision with a distance of 10.7 m, the camera has reversing guidelines (these can be disabled if not required).
