The set of 4 niche sensors is a digital display with built-in buzzer that gives audible beeps with increasing frequency when you get closer to an obstacle and a digital countdown in cm (there is an on/off switch for the buzzer). No need to stick with black or pay extra colour. We offer a range of 32 coloured sensors to meet the needs of most customers. They are dyed and fired in factory conditions for a lasting finish and will not crack like retro sprays do. The sensors should also withstand things such as car washes. For help with selecting the colour, please see our colour match chart. Sensors require a 21mm hole (cutter included) and have a 25mm outside which has a 2mm overlap. As with other systems, the dolphin unit is activated when reverse gear is selected. When the vehicle is less than 1.5 meters away from the obstacle, the acoustic alarm sounds intermittent beeps. When the vehicle gets closer to the obstacles, the frequency of beeps increases. At 30 centimetres of the obstacle, the beeps turn into a continuous solid tone that warns you that you should stop the car. All our kits are now equipped with a new waterproof switch socket that is 6 inches away from the sensor heads, making installation faster and easier. Even if you have problems with faulty sensors or accident damage in the future, it facilitates easy replacement without having to remove and re-wire the bumper. Our new adjustable brain box means you have full control of the detection distance your parking sensors have from your car. This is particularly useful for cars with low bumpers or bumpers angled to the ground.
