But what is Mirror Glaze? Mirror Glaze is a new type of glaze with which you can conjure up a perfect mirror shine on the pastry. The effect is particularly noticeable on smooth mousse cakes. As beautiful as the effect is, preparing a mirror glaze is not so easy and requires some ingredients. In order to make working with the mirror gloss glaze easier, we have created a completely finished version for you. All you need to do is heat the icing bag and you can mirror your mousse cake, muffins or a cake base. Particularly beautiful effects can be achieved on the pastry when several colours of the mirror glaze are used together. Ingredients Ingredients: sugar, glucose syrup, water, vegetable fats (palm, coconut), rapeseed oil, protein-enriched whey powder, lactose, edible gelatin, skimmed milk powder, acidifier citric acid, table salt, preservative potassium sorbate, emulsifier lecithin, natural cream aroma (milk), bourour. bon vanilla vanilla extraNatural aroma, dye real carmine. May contain traces of cereals containing gluten, egg and nuts. Directions Preparation: To achieve the optimal gloss effect, refrigerate the cake or pastry for at least 1 hour before coating, ideally freeze. Preparation in a water bath: the icing bag approx. Place in boiling hot water for 10 minutes or stand upright. Carefully remove the bag from the water, dry, knead briefly and cut at the top corner.
