This Flor de Sal (mostly known under the French name Fleur de Sel) comes from a very interesting region in the inland of Spain, namely the valley Valle Salado de Añana in the Basque Country, where spring salt has been extracted for 7000 years. The essence of the Flor de Sal is its texture, which is significantly different from that of table sales or simple sea salt.
