Show More; Product description Product Description The BenRiach Smoke Season is a single malt whisky from the Double Cask Matured filling series of the Scottish distillery BenRiach in the Speyside region. Its maturation took place in two different barrel types: a first-fill ex-bourbon cask and new American oak barrels. This combination accentuates the roasted and sweet aromas and gives the distillery's most intensely peated whisky a special flavor. In the aroma, vanilla and caramel combine with notes of campfire smoke, citrus fruits and green apples. On the palate there are nuances of citrus fruits and grilled fruit, complemented by vanilla, toffee as well as spicy oak notes, pepper and ginger. The peat smoke is present but harmoniously integrated. The finish is long-lasting and characterised by peat smoke as well as fruity impressions. Directions Enjoy pure whisky in the Nosing glass at an ideal 18 to 20 degrees Celsius. Allow the distillate to breathe briefly. Optionally, 2 to 3 drops of still water can be added to release hidden flavors and barrel aromas.
