Our R&D team, always looking for innovative solutions, has managed to gain powerful, deep and strong bass from small housings. The goal was to design the electro-acoustic parameters of the subwoofer so that a closed housing of 32 litres for the CS 300 is sufficient to offer excellent performance. The single 2 Ohm voice coil offers the possibility to use different power amplifiers and subwoofer housing variations. The reduced depth of the chassis, the compact magnet and lack of the rear compression openings allow an extremely compact housing to build the subwoofer. The special cooling system of the 6-layer voice coil keeps the operating temperature in an optimal range, even if the suboofer is operated with a lot of power. The geometry of the membrane, the beading and the centering are FEM (Finite Element Method) modified to guarantee best performance, even under the toughest conditions. The terminal block offers solid push terminals that accept cables up to 8 AWG, minimising loss during wiring of the subwoofer and simplifying the operation of multiple subwoofers. The subwoofer comes with an elegant and stable holder made of ABS plastic which allows you to use an optional metal grille (CG 300) to protect the subwoofer and visually complete the installation. With Cento subwoofers, even younger enthusiasts who like deep bass in the car are appealed.
