Total length: approx. 280 mm (11 inches) Blade length: approx. 4\; Product description The 8116 range of NAREX chisels are accurately ground, affordable, cabinetmaker chisels with fine edges and tight tolerance. Narex, the chisel blade material made of chrome manganese (CrMn) spring steel and isothermally hardens it gives a very even and constant bainitic structure at RC59 +/-. In operation, chrome manganese steel offers a similar performance compared to carbon, but is a more efficient to produce. The 8116 cabinetmaker Narex chisel hornbeam handle drops. It keeps the surface to stretch and use optical taps from a wooden hammer when connecting. The hornbeam handles are slightly waxed to protect the wood, while its natural colour and feel. All chisels have in this set are with smaller handles that our customers have found are more comfortable to use than the handles.
