A completely new design: the KE4 is redesigned from the ground up and has an isobaric subwoofer system with 2 dynamic drivers (2DD) in combination with 2 balanced armature speakers (2BA) for the entire frequency range and the tweeter range. New 2D + 2 BA: The 2 Kiwi Ears Custom 10 mm dynamic drivers focus on the sub bass range and emphasise the presence of kick drums and bass guitars. A RAD 33518 BA driver equipped with improved ventilation ensures seamless integration of bass into the midrange while ensuring rich and textured voices and instruments. A USA made RAD 33518 tweeter from Knowles delivers pristine and natural-sounding treble with an excellent upper frequency expansion for an airy sound. Easy to use: the KE4 stands for Kiwi Ears' commitment to excellent tonal balance. It follows our new target tuning, which emphasizes precise low bass, warm but natural midrange and precise highs. This sound signature has been refined over the years and, in our opinion, is the most natural and engaging. The sound signature is suitable for any purpose, from music enjoyment and playing to professional stage monitoring and sound engineering. Perfect design: the Kiwi Ears KE4 has been developed by hand from start to finish. Equipped with a passive 3-way switch and 3 independent sound tubes, every little detail of acoustic development has been taken into account to achieve its tuning. The cases are made of medical grade resin and finished with handmade faceplates.
