The Viltrox AF 13mm f/1.4 E is an elegant ultra-wide angle prime lens compatible with Sony E-mount cameras and is characterised by portability, advanced optical design and intuitive handling. Ideal for landscapes, city views, street scenes, architecture, vlog and more. 14 lens elements in 11 groups provide a sophisticated optical design. Two aspherical lens elements are optimized for distortion and extra-axial optical aberration, so the lens maintains excellent resolution over the entire focusing range. 4 ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) lens elements significantly reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations to achieve greater clarity and color accuracy. The lens is designed for smooth video recording and effectively eliminates the breathing of focus when changing the focus distance during video recording. The STM autofocus motor provides fast and responsive autofocus. The bright maximum aperture of f/1.4 is suitable for working in difficult lighting conditions, and also provides better control over depth of field and a soft bokeh effect at larger aperture. The 9-slat panel contributes to a pleasant bokeh quality. The minimum focusing distance is 0.22 m. The aperture ring and focus ring of the lens are designed for optimal usability.
